This is my submission for the "Vocaloid Music Jam".

Honestly, it started with a premise. What is my life about? And, well, it's mostly been about self-doubt, slight self-loathing, insecurity, but also, a reminder of how far I've come in life. I'm more than what I think I am. That's why it's called ganbatte. Not "you can do it", but "good luck".

Hopefully this message will rub on you guys as well.

I landed on Kasane Teto, GUMI and SOLARIA very early on, and the rap part was actually planned from the beginning. I'm not 100% satisfied with the rap, it's a bit cringe, but eh, maybe in the future I can write better lyrics. Not for this song though, aside from the raps, the lyrics are pretty good if I say so myself.

For the samples, I suck at the drums, so almost all of my samples came from one sample pack. I originally used a full drum sample, but decided to use the split sample, since they're a bit more flexible. That's why the YouTube video and the screenshot contain gaps. Other than that, I mainly used FLEX and one instance of Cytrus, but even then I just used a preset. People with a good ear can recognize stock FL Studio plugins, but eh, as it is now, it's good enough.

I plan on releasing this song on Spotify somewhere in the future. For now, it's only YouTube. Once I finalized this song, I'll put up the full version here as well, free to download.
